First Snow Day in NY

I just moved to long island from Texas, i got some crappy nanking tires on there right now. Its snowing pretty good. Should i buy snow tires? I don't ever drive it since i have been taking the train to work.

Yeah, if you never drive it don't bother. The messed up thing would be if you did have to drive somewhere in an emergency, had a car, but couldn't use it.

Im in NYC too I dont know about things when it comes to snow on that car but any form of snow tires would work its jsut common sense. I think if anything if not using snow tires on a awd car like any other car would become useless if not for the tires.

save the money and wait for next year. The winter season is almost over and i doubt we will have a bad snow day. Hell im running summer tires this year since we have yet to get anything bad.

No, winter season only has about a month or so left. Plus you take the train anyway. Save your money
