Long shot: Tracking down a '06 WW RS that was traded in

WW 2006 RS traded in Nov 2008 at Barrier Audi, though they were sending it to auction. had ~31k on it. Mods left on it: Exedy stg2, greddy tt, gauge pod on dash with gauges, injectors and maybe a few other odds and ends.

Just curious what ever happened to it.

Don't have any pictures of it in the condition it was traded in.

I know it's a long shot, since it was going to auction it could of ended up anywhere I guess.

....so I'm not the only one wondering what happened to my old car! I saw what I thought was my old Evo at a gas station, & almost ran up to the guy to ask... thinking if it was, maybe he'd trade me for my X I had at the time... Then figured I'd seem crazy! Sorry I haven't been helpful, though.... Good luck!

Yeah, I'll be getting another one this summer, just always wondered what happened to this one.

I might have the VIN somewhere, I'll have to look.

near-impossible to track down a car unless you have access to places that keep records of license-plate changes or have the VIN number (easiest)

I know it's crazy, I just kind of thought maybe since WW RS's weren't made in huge numbers that maybe someone in or near WA state would pop up and say hey I bought one in Nov/Dec '08 that had those mods etc. Leaving on a trip in the morning, I'll look for the VIN when I get back.

Run a Carfax. That may get you closer.
