Finally looking to mod my bonestock IX MR
Wish I had every EVO color in my driveway
Just curious...everyone wants his Stock Evo so you can modify it? Seems strange, but either way.
You purchased all those parts listed new you're looking at ~$3500
Buying barely used parts is the way to go, I don't think I've purchased one large new part for my Evo (and it was 100% stock a few months ago) besides my gauges/bezel... OH my amsoil air filter.

thus, isn't that an expert's mod that should come with a simple buyer beware warning that the OP should thereafter be more careful with his clutch work or risk destroying something in his driveline?
A think you can add an o2 housing for a better spooling turbo. And don't listen to the "keep it stock" guys, if "some" more power could make you happy than go ahead. Some boltons won't kill the car! Only thing I'm sorry I didn't change the cams & injectors on mine before the tune. Also I think the best tune is made on the dyno. Sean Ivey tuned mine & he's pretty good! Here's some opinion: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newb...ivey-tune.html
Good luck & keep us updated please!

get a catback and a tune...
with the money you would've spent on more mods, save it for maintenance. fluid changes, tires, brakes add up. i have the same car as you and only have a tbe with a tune. wouldn't have it any other way. the money i spend goes to properly maintain the car. it's returned the favor!
unless you autox then i can see a reason to go that route.

I'm sure OP has all the fluid change in his budget otherwise, it wouldn't be wise to do the upgrade if OP can't afford to maintain the car.

True to an extent. If the OP is going to mod his car he is starting step 1 to his own headache anyway. Stock is the way to go.
Keep it stock, Nothing beats a good reliable stock car. If you do mod your car, be smart about it. The modding game can be a headache, and there is mountains of misinformation out there.

It was modded but then brought to stock. I pretty much want to keep it stock turbo right under 400hp hopefully just breaking 11 seconds. I would consider trades but a IX with almost the same bolt ons. message me if anything. thanks for the input.
I know you won't but I'll say it anyway... Keep the engine and driveline OE and spend you money on nice suspension and proper set up. You will enjoy/keep the car longer. I have seen it all here.
