I know this isn't the answer you're looking for, but..... If you have tried everything you can think of what about taking it in to Mitsubishi for service?

I do not want to take it to them because I've read other Evom threads where people have paid a lot of money to have the Mitsu dealership tell them they too can't figure out what's going on. The last thing I want to do is pay the hourly rate that the dealer charges for them to go over the same stuff I've already done. I believe that's how they operate - but I could be wrong?

My 03 hac the issue years ago from having too much timing in cruise areas. It would pop up every so often. It got worse when I upgraded to GSC 280 cams. Result for me was not over doing timing and permanently disabling the code in ecuFlash.
