Murphys Law - P0300
after driving for awhile ive learned to throw this code almost on command, for me its driving in 5th gear and anywhere from 3500-4100 rpms i can stutter step the gas pedal and i can count on my cel to turn on every time. and sometimes my car decides to be a punk and i throw the code 6 or 7 times a day for no reason. but i drive an 03 viii and they're notorious for it and each trigger can vary upon each car. my advice is to have a tuner erase the code altogether thats what my plan is.
Thanks. I plan to...my CEL stays on all the time. I need to find someone who knows how to turn the code off.
I do not want to take it to them because I've read other Evom threads where people have paid a lot of money to have the Mitsu dealership tell them they too can't figure out what's going on. The last thing I want to do is pay the hourly rate that the dealer charges for them to go over the same stuff I've already done. I believe that's how they operate - but I could be wrong?
My 03 hac the issue years ago from having too much timing in cruise areas. It would pop up every so often. It got worse when I upgraded to GSC 280 cams. Result for me was not over doing timing and permanently disabling the code in ecuFlash.
