well ive been searching for thier website and saving up my money to take my car to them but from what i hear there is no more dog box racing is this true?

sadly yes. Alex closed DogBox Racing. IMO the next best place is TRE.

TRE doesn't use dog gears in his trannies, but SHEPTRANS does

 

Only issue I have with TRE is getting in touch. Sometimes its easy. Sometimes its like a black hole. Thats been my experience.

 

im in PA and was ready to take my tranny to them. Tell me no one else in the tri state can rebuild our trannies. If not I guess shep, tre, will get mine. Id rather help local business but if no one is around me then im **** out of luck!!!!

Buschur Racing does tranny builds, they're in OH, which probably isn't too far from you.

I have a lot of experience with TRE, the transmissions are great, but sometimes shipping times and getting ahold of Jon are a pain. He is basically a one man operation and I can understand that for sure.

With that being said, Buschur trans have done very well and their turnaround time is excellent from what I've seen and heard.
