Question Who has the real whp???

It seems like the Vishnu mods are a lot more expensive than Buschur's and doesn't produce nearly as much whp. From what ive seen people are getting about 270-300 whp off a vishnu stage 1 and about 320-340 whp off a buschur stage 2, and its a lot cheaper! Are these numbers accurate? If this is the case, why choose vishnu?

I'm not sure if the numbers are accurate... but on the question. I think vishnu is in CA and Buschur's in OH so i'm guessing location might be a determining factor in the choice. I'm in jersey so if i were to go to one it would most likely be buschur...

Re: Who has the real whp???

If Vishnu stage 1 was on David's dyno it would get about 350

Buscher's dyno numbers on only on the front wheels so they will read higher then on a four wheels.

Buscher tunes on 93/94octain were Vishnu being in CA tunes on 91 octain.

Also Vishnu's dyno reads lower then AWD DYNO jets.

What is really important in reading dyno charts is how much of a gain a Vendor was able to make from stock to tuned.

I a vishnu user my self Here is a dyno sheet of my stage 0 with custom dyno tuning.

Stock I made 231whp, Stage 0 base map 274, Stage 0 custom tuned by Shiv from Vishnu 292

Stage 0= cat back exhaust and Xede

Assuming that the engine does indeed make 271whp, this would suggest a 2wd drivetrain loss of 17whp. Considering that underdrive pulleys alone (which simply spin the accessories 10-15% slower) have been known to be worth 15whp on (Dynojets by the way), does it really make sense that spining 100lbs of wheels/tires, 50lbs of rotors, transmission gears, axles, etc,. along with the frictional losses associated with all those bits plus tire/roller interface only takes up 17whp?

And some people still think Al was the trouble maker. If Dave had a stock EVO that was making 300 HP at the wheels on a 2wd Dynojet you would ***** that it was way optimistic. Since it "only" reads 254 HP (about 20 more than a 4WD dynojet or 20 less than at the crank) you are *****ing because it is not over optimistic enough! Guess what, 20HP less than crank on 2WD dynojet.....40 HP less than crank on an AWD dyno jet.... sounds like about 20 HP difference for each set of driven wheels to me!

Also, you can drop the "didn't you see the smiley? I was just joking" every time you make a snide comment about someone right now. Nobody is buying that bull****.

[sarcasm]just kidding! Have a nice day! [/sarcasm]

depends on the $ you want to spend and what you want from it. personally, i think shiv is a little too cocky and as for buschers products- well, you get what you pay for..........not bad but not exactly a "bolt on" product as thay advertise. i don't trust either's numbers until i see them for myself.
just my .02

What is your problem Keith? We are typing away here in the GENERAL forum. Shiv's comments/opinion here ADDED to the question posed by the original post: What is the REAL WHP?

The coefficient of heat is light.
Yes, Shiv warmed things up, BUT there was light (knowledge) to go with it.
You just caused heat, with absolutely no light.
