What's the fastest full weight evo VIII on pump gas?

Forgive me if the answer is posted somewhere, I could not find it.

I'm curious to know what the record is for the fastest, daily driver, full weight evo VIII on pump gas (93 octane).....

As in full interior, A/C, No roll cage, NO WEIGHT REDUCTION OF ANY, all factory interior parts, street tires, 93 octane, etc.

Basically factory specs, with a built motor and big turbo on pump gas....

I no Mellon has went 10.41@135

Any help is great. Thanks

Dom

Pretty sure the Bad Bish is the fastest on pump if i remember correctly. Think he ran a 9?

****found the video on youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efAOLl-MIWA

9.72 @ 144.81 on 94 octane (so not 93, but close)

When that was done, we had 94 octane a the Sunoco pumps here in Ohio (like the one that is two blocks from BR's shop).

So, it was pump gas. I don't think Sunoco offers 94 anymore.

ETA: Wait, maybe it's a Shell station on the corner. I can't remember, it's been a while since I've owned an Evo, or been to the shop for that matter.

I wasn't inferring it wasn't pump. Just specifying since he asked about 93 specifically.

Even with a slight detune for the 1 octane rating, thats still a 9 second pass

Full weight and a custom Ac in that cat would still net 9s.

He has an RS model. Crank windows, no radio, and no AC. It is a stripped out version of a normal Evo but it was from factory. I don't think he stripped anything out though.

I'm not asking that. I wanted to know whom holds the record. Clearly the bish has more taken out of it then it did at the factory.

Mellons car is a good example of what I mean by full weight on 93. I guess he's the leader

Because he isn't running AC and has some very light weight reduction it doesn't count according to the OP

9.7 + AC and some weight (~100lbs) is still going to be a 9

No, they removed the AC - all US cars came with AC. Look at the badbish thread, and they did do some minor weight reduction - much less than 100lbs
