Detonation.... Help! suggestions?

Hi, I have a 05 evo 8 and I have had issues with the car missfiring/detonating/knocking for a long time. There are lots of reasons why it would do this so I am going to state what I know. As of now i am running ams 2.3L fp green, hks ignition amplifier, 1400cc injectors, e-85, +other supporting parts pushing 450whp. The tune is also set rich to help with leaning out and detonating. I have been using NGK BPR8es and I have to change plugs once a month because of detonation. I have also replaced the stock ignition coils and wires which helped for about a month without any knock and then went back to misfiring. I have considered upgrading ignition coils to okada plasma pack or sparktech but I have buddies who run as much power as me on stock ignition without any knocks tuned by the same tuner.
Should I just upgrade ignition? any suggestions or advice would be appreciated thanks

Um.... Detonation is a serious issue and will be the death of your motor and pocketbook so STOP boosting the car and get to your tuner. If you do tuning yourself have someone else do it. Ams Stroker that sounds cheap lol. Seriously though good luck. Gotta be in the tune.

I would ditch the HKS ignition amplifier and either go with a completely stock ignition or go with a SparkTech NON-CDI setup.

I would also run the NGKBR8ES over the NGKBPR8ES. The BR8ES is a cooler plug as it is closer to the head. The difference between the two is the BR8ES does not stick as far into the combustion chamber as the BPR8ES does, which gives you more clearance to the piston as well as cooler plug.

If this does not fix your issue turn the boost down. If that doesn't fix it, it's a tuning issue.

It sounds like your fouling plugs, which leads to weak spark, which leads to detonation.

Get the car tuned by someone who's got some experience. Throwing parts at it won't fix the issue.

Also, random factoid: I run the BR8ES in my bike lol
