2004 evo 8. just did a full motor rebuilt. put new motor and clutch setup in, went to bleed and we had minimal pressure. kept trying to bleed and it got to the point of no pressure or fluid coming out. no slave cylinder movement either.

just replaced the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder with brand new ones. went to bleed again and still ZERO fluid or pressure.

pulled the feed line off the brake fluid res. and no fluid comes out... shouldnt it at least be gravity bleeding? if i cup my hands over it and blow into the resivour i get some fluid to come out the feed port.

is there some kind of 1 way valve to only allow fluid flow when being pulled on from the master? or do i have a plugged up feed? all hoses are clear and air can be forced through. but im getting NO pressure or fluid even pulled into the clutch master cylinder.

any help would be great.

nevermind got it figured out.

needed to overfill the resivour to create more pressure on the air in the system.
