finally back in the searching game

So i stopped lookin for a car for a while. got back from deployment and had to take care of some stuff. but now im lookin and i need some opinions. i found a 2006 WW evo. with about 39k miles, clean title also. owner is askin $16k. so far its been modded good. nothing too serious but enough to get me started. maintenance seems to be up to date. he had the 35k service done. and he said at 25k miles he switched the clutch out with a Exedy Stage 1. only con is he says its got a problem this is quoted directly from his FS ad

"Also front brake rotors feel warped and the one wheel can not be balance perfectly, so I would recommend the next buyer to change the brake rotors and a new set of rims/tires in order to be perfect but the Evo drives great either way, I just mention so you know what to replace eventually later on the road"

what does this say to you?

It could happen when wheel is bent or bad tires. 16k for low milies 06, if you ask me i think it is pretty good deal, it isn't huge issue to deal with or will cost a lot to fix. Go for it.

thats what i was thinking....but the thing is he has painted stock rims. so i might wanna just get brand new wheels instead of just replacing one of them. also could this problem have anything to do with the suspension like the strut on that wheel?? then that would be a lil more to fix

No dealer if there is any EVO shop near you/seller's location.

ok cool ill start looking into that.

so i know this is different than my original post but im also looking into a M3 2001-2006. I know the difference in maintenance and cost but i wanna ask what some of you guys think. what would be a better choice. if you guys are happy with your evo or if you could go back would you possibly get an evo.
