clutch stuck all the way down

The wife just woke me up screaming the car is broke. She was driving onto the navy base and she want to shift and she said the clutch just stuck to the floor board. Then she said she bad to reach.down and pull it up. Guess its new clutch time? Hopefully the transmission is okay? Probably.a good time to buy ACT?

Sounds like something with your master or slave. Check them for leaks. Or bleed and refill.

I don' think its time for a new Clutch. Same thing happened to me over 2 years a go. I took it AAMCO (I was desperate and didn't know anyone) and they wanted to charge me around $800 for a new slave, lines, fluid and everything else. Turns out my line was leaking and i had no fluid. I gave STM a call and got their Clutchline Full to Master for $50 bucks. Clutch feel is better then before and i haven't had a single leak since then. Your wife doesn't need to know all this. get a new clutch anyways

^yup... Either she was doing a time attack to get there and grenaded the pressure plate, or it's just a fluid pressure issue.

Check the master cylinder to see if there is any fluid in it. If not, fill it up and have some one (wife) press the clutch pedal as you look for leaks.

All good info but my clutch pedal got stuck to the floor and i needed a clutch. Split my disk in two driving back to base! I'd try all other options first but yeah new clutch time

Like the others said above its usually a loss of pressure in the clutch line somewhere(slave, line, master). If she didnt hear any weird noises when it happened guarantee this is the issue.

Have somebody watch the slave cylinder with a light, when u depress the clutch does it move? If so the hydraulic system and cylinder are probably fine most likely something broke (pressure plate, throw out bearing could have come unsnapped from plate). Pull out the rubber piece that covers the inspection hole under the bell housing and see whats going on....... If the cylinder isn't moving while depressing the clutch pedal then there's something wrong in the hydraulic system. If your clutch felt weak before this issue I would just plan on upgrading, but if it felt fine it might be worth diagnosing the problem before u pay a shop a bunch of money.

We took it to a little shop out here in Italy and the guys are saying that they have to pull the clutch out to inspect what's going on. He did mention that the throw out bearing is jacked up.

We are poised and ready to order a new clutch (ACT Street Clutch). I also have a wishlist loaded with new lines and a master cylinder just in case. This really sucks. Just when I get into tuning midnight and wifey get into a pissing match lol.

I was just about to drop in the Manifolds and the fuel pump. Jeez-leweeez.

He also mentioned that the fork was stuck. Now the clutch is stuck in the out position and cannot be pressed back in.

Also, I want to say thanks for all the support btw. The first thing I told a frantic wifey was don't worry I'll run it by the guys on the forum; straight up

Not the clutch...... cos the master is not Connected to the clutch. It would simple separate and The peddle will still pop u. So not the clutch.

This. My wave lock rings popped out of pressure plate, clutch pedal still worked but wouldn't shift.

Bleed the system first and check for leaks and see what happens.
