Is 0.006 the same as 0.0060?

Yes, and it is also the same as 0.006000000000000.

As long as they are just zeros after the last crucial number, you're good to go

Not scientifically. There are a different number of significant figures, meaning that one was measured with a higher degree of accuracy.

Ya know you're right... I apologize if I was misleading at all, but I think in this context I was accurate.

no its not the same. because it depends on what was measured and how accurate. if its 0.006 then the original number could be 0.0059 or 0.0061 + - a few, then the final number was rounded off by the instrument.

if its 0.0060 then its accurately 0.0060 with no + - 0.0001 or whatever the degree of error is. 0.0060 is WAY more accurate and the instrument used to measure that accuracy is SUPER expensive compared to the instrument used to measure 0.006.
