Resonated O2 dump?
Resonated O2 dump?
Maybe im too old, but I dont really like the sound of my o2 dump. I love all the benifits of running one. It just sounds to raspy like I have a faulty exhaust.
I was wondering if there was a way to modify the sound just a little?
Would adding a resonator diminish the efectiveness of the dump?
Does anyone make a resonator that slim?

Idk if you guys are into MX or other forms of racing, but they are putting "power bombs" on the 250s and 450s. I wonder what that would do to the sound buy weldng one in with a short straight piece after it?
If you google it you will see what I mean, might not do anything, but changing the shape of the dump would seem to slow down the exhaust gases leaving the dump and should change the sound some what I would think.

Have it shoot out of your hood vent. The tone will change dramatically, haha.
If that is not an option, just go with recirculated. Something like a MAP true 3" O2/down pipe is ideal. You would probably get gains all around switching to one of those. In addition the flex coupler will help keep other parts from fatiguing.
