Evo 8 Fuel pump check?
Evo 8 Fuel pump check?
i just bought a evo 8 a little bit ago and about to buy a fuel pump but i want to make sure the one in it right now isnt already aftermarket. i have found the location is their a easy way to tell if it is the stock one or not?
Is it safe to remove the fuel pump to check it out? will i have to do anything once i put it back it?
also any tips on taking it out i know you have to take off the wire harness first then start the car in till it dies then you can remove it correct?

Yep it's safe. It's pretty simple.

But I mean, most of the time if it's a walbro you can hear a whine. If it's not audible with seat still installed remove it and listen.
is this what a walbro sounds like lol? if you really have no idea dont even responded please

Note: the click at the start of the clips are just my phone, the whine type sound is the fuel pump
