Crank Sensor Plug

Is there an easy way to unplug the crank sensor? I need to test something but it requires unplugging it, I've heard I need to remove the lower timing cover.

Plug for the crank sensor is located right near the pcv valve right in front of the fuel pressure regulator squeeze the clip and it pops off the plug then get a small pic and simply insert it into the little hole and pull up and there you go if you need more slack on the wires remove the spark plug cover it runs over the valve cover but under the spark spark plug cover!

Hope this helps- nick
