Love the support, stop the hate;)

Hey guys,

The thread about the Buschur Flash got way out of hand as many have on here.

I HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED BY ANY OTHER VENDORS OR ANY MODERATOR IN ANY NEGATIVE MANNER.

I have had nothing but support in private e-mails and phone calls. This post is NOT to back down or make any apologies.

I am simply asking that any of guys that support us please continue to do so, I really appreciate the hell out of it.

The thread did get carried away though and from it Shiv accused me off calling him Shi*. Now a some of you guys are using it all the time. I replied to him telling him what I have said about what VISHNU stands for. Now it is being quoted all over the place. Do me a favor, just let that crap die.

All of you will decide for yourselves where to buy from and why to do it.

I for one hope that wherever you decide to spend your money you will be happy enough to stand behind the company you supported. Hopefully that company is us, if not, hope you are happy with your decisions anyway.

Thanks for listening, just want to try and do my part in making this more technical and less ********.

Thanks for reading and considering what I have said.

David,

i would jusl like to say that i agree with you 100%. i would also like to say that i love the way you do business and even though i have not bought anything from you guys, i really like the way you run your business. i also had a chance to hang with Chris from NEPTUNE a few days ago (Leon's firend) and i was very impressed with what they both said about you. i also think that it would be best for all of us if all those stupid fights would come to an end and maybe then we can all use this board for what it was designed to do, provide info to all people who share a common love for the lance.

keep up the good work and know that you have gained another supporter.

Snir

I agree with David , If you are happy with what you have not need to hate or talk crap about someone else. Alot of these post have been becoming very childish latley, this is a forum for the Evo's and Lancers not childish school bickering.

Let me post a little insight to the kind of guy David Buschur is. I'm in the Navy and one of my friends from the ship, CJ, is from about 20 minutes away from Buschur HQ, while he was home on Christmas leave his aunt was going to get her oil changed Buschurs shop. CJ was very suprised by this and asked her if she knew who he was, she did to an extent. She knew him, but had no idea of the things he has done in the DSM world. After telling her that he was pretty much a god for the tuning the kind of car he had ( he has a 98 GSX) she said she would ask him for his autograph. Davis did this but was very modest in doing so. That tells me that he is a stand up guy and just does what he does because he loves it.

David I don't have any of your parts YET but believe me I will!!! I support BUSCHUR!!!!!!!

Obviously both Buschur and Vishnu are good companies (meaning their products are top notch). They both know what they're doing. Also, they have the requisite side effects of anyone who is good at what they do--an ego (but not in a bad way). When either of them feel their toes are being stepped on, they respond.

Now, I have a feeling that if they were ever locked in a room together they'd come out friends (or at least with a grudging respect for one another). I think it would be nice if a truce were called by both sides, and different viewpoints could be discussed without things devolving into a flame war on this board. FWIW, I plan on purchasing products from both.

I'll say this: In the six months that I have been an active member of this forum, the worst thing I read Shiv say about you was to imply that you are a redneck of some kind. It was that pickup truck line, remember? Now, although that was not cool, everyone knows that rednecks make up the bulk of this great nation's mechanics and technicians. So, although he may have tried to stereotype you, it was the equivalent of saying Asians students are better at math: a positive stereotype. Neutral at worst. It was wrong but I doubt anyone decided to take their business elsewhere because of it.

Your comment, V.I.S.H.N.U., on the other hand, was fundamentaly more harmful as you stated point blank that you think his products are SH**. I have never heard Shiv refer to your products in this manner in private or in this forum. If he has and I missed them, my bad. That kind of attack can cost a businessman a lot of money and there was no factual data included to back it up.

So, please, if you really mean "stop the hate" you should apologize for that comment and state that it isn't true. However, if you believe that it is true, then please use evidence and reasoning to back it up. I actually don't mind when tuners and vendors talk smack and then a techical debate follows with asorted facts mixed in the usual jabs. That is where the HEAT turns to LIGHT.

Best wishes

I agree completly b/c if vendors keep getting heated and kicked off there won;t be any vendors to buy, ask questions or refer to for parts...I haven't been here long but alot of stuff on this manner is dealt w/ like 3yr olds would do w/ the name calling and such...

I read all the vendors post to get info b4 I buy my evo so that I know which company I want to go w/ but when all they do it fight w/each other it is hard to get technical stuff answered and it leaves people w/ even more answers...

Everyone here is for the same car and same reason so let's just enjoy the site and learn from each other so that we can make the car topics better...

JUST THINK IF ALL THE NEGATIVE ENERGY WASTED ON ARGUEING WOULD HAVE BEEN USED TO GET MITSU TO WAKE UP AND LISTEN TO THIER CUSTOMERS...NO ONE WOULD EVER SEE A WARRANTY ISSUE THREAD AGAIN!!!!

Thank God someone has their head on straight. I'm so sick of all this petty school-girl bickering it makes me want to stop reading vendor related posts. I haven't seen an Al vs. Chiv debacle in enough time that I think it may have actually come to an end. The LAST thing we need is Shiv vs. another tuner. I'm not saying it's Shiv's fault or anyone else for that matter. All I'm saying is I want to see posts about the cars we all love, not the vendors we all hate.

It's about time we got back to what really matters, the cars. With that being said I am sure there are enough supporters of both camps to keep both Vishnu and Buschur in business. I hate coming to the forums and having to read through useless posts. The Evo is an icon and the owners should start diplaying more refinement in their demeanor. I would hate to have this site turn into another DSM site that I used to visit. Where all that is ever discussed is who is faster, and who is lying. Now back to the real information guys.

All EVERYONE is after is performance for their cars. I sit on here night after night, day after day, whenever possible looking where to spend whatever funds make it into my car allowance.

The vendor bickering puts a fire in peoples blood, and pulls the bad stuff out. Everyone must also realize that something like this makes people more enthusiastic about tuning, and forces the DIY guy to make themselves into more educated automotive enthusiasts. I thank all these vendors for putting the spark back into my automotive drive which has lacked ever since my last car met its fate.

Progressions are now being made by every vendor that were included in the bashing. All this will do is make them work even harder to deliver more to their customers. I am not congradulating them on fighting, but you must see that we WILL benefit from this.

I will show my support to my future vendor, but not here and not now. I am excited about getting under the hood of my car once again, and have only AL, Buschur, and Vishnu to thank. Someone has truly earned my business for my stay in the EVO community, and i will let them know it once i begin on my upgrade path.

Thanks for your true dedication to the development of our cars.

Smogrunner's post was not inappropriate. It was mature at best that asked for reasons and answers. There are others besides Smogrunner that would also like to know how David reached his assesments.

I kept his appropriate post in the thread. The post where he acts confrontational with his Vishnu dyno sheet was unneeded.

If anyone else has any problems with the Moderating of this thread, pm me directly so we can discuss.
