Overboosting Issue
The only thing I changed recently was a leaky BoV to a (assuming) non-leaky BoV. I kinda wanted to buy an fp green from my buddy and a 255 walbro then go to CBRD for a boost leak and a tune. But until then,
Any one have some ideas why my car overboosts so easily? Can a ****ty-*** tune cause this?

first off-
we dont like forge WG's or MBC's they have caused us problems in the past- the best MBC we have used is the hallman pro rx- but we rarely EVER tune evo's on anything other than ecu boost anymore-
to check your WG--
simply plug the nipple on your turbo intake pipe after the maf (if its not already, which it should be with an MBC)
then hook the line from your compressor outlet nipple on the turbo outlet pipe directly up to the Wastegate nipple-
that will run WG pressure-
if it doesnt then you have an overly tightened or poor WG actuator-
try that-
pm or call us with questions-
