Need help, want to install smaller wheels on my 8, front caliper problem ?

Hey guys, I really could use your help. I want to install 15" wheels on my 8 with slicks and i heard that 15's will bolt right up in the rear with no problem due to the caliper is not that big and i also heard that if i go to a junk yard and purchase front stock galant rotors & calipers that they will bolt right up to the car using my own brake lines etc.
Is this true ? and if so what 15" wheels would you recommend and i don't mind using from a stock car from junk yard or so.
Please if you could help me out here.

Also what size tire then would you recommend, I see guys running very high profile drags ? isn't it better to run a lower profile tire.

Please please someone answer these for me

Thanks

Yes i know wildwood makes calipers and stuff but don't have the cash so im trying to take a short cut.

Why not get some FD wheels and spacers? They will clear your stock brakes, just need 20mm spacers and 2nd version of FD wheels. They have 50 marked on them.
