lower ball joint

lower ball joint

does a evo 4 1996 reg lower ball joint come away from the arm or is it all in one pice just fail mot and need 2 get sorted.plz help

There were 2 types of LBJs used on the 5th gen Evos. Some had a balljoint that was part of the arm, and some had a removable ball joint.

I believe the part number for the REMOVABLE ball joint is MR485675. Do you have a picture of your A arm? I can probably tell you if it will be removable if I can see the assembly that you have.

If I had to put money on it, you more than likely have the non removable type. This was one of the changes that they made to the E6 TME I believe (all removable) compared to some E4/5/6's coming with part A, and some coming with part B.

It's been a while though... so don't quote me on any of this.
