03 evo 8 ball joints
You cant. Mitsu doesnt sell the joints separate from the arms. And there are no aftermarket joints that fit the Evo forged aluminum arms. You have to get a good used spare or ante up from Mitsu for a new arm.. BTW you should be replacing in pairs so that would be 2 arms if you go for new ones.
For the rear there are 4 arms per side in the Evo 8-9. Rear trailing arm, front toe arm rear upper arm and lower shock mount arm . 3 of them have a ball joint on them. Root around and see which arm you really need to replace.
ES sells the large donut bushing for the rear trailing arm. That is an upgrade to the squishy rubber stock one. They also sell the offset bushing for the front toe arm for better toe adjustment That one also fits the lower shock arm at the inboard position to allow more camber gain under bump
The stock spherical joints on the lower shock arm and the rear upper arm are available from Mitsubishi. Do not replace those with urethane bushings, that is a downgrade
If you need the stock dust boots for the rear suspension ball joints, they are available from Russell at mitsubishiparts.net
