Ball joint compatibility

Hey guys.

I was wondering if anyone had some part numbers. Specifically from the 4-9.
I need new ball joints and tie rod ends for my IV, and I am a US resident. Are the 8/9 ball joints and tie rod ends the same as the 4/5/6?

TIA

good question - for 8/9, they are non-replacable per factory FSM. Whiteline makes the roll center balljoints for front lower LCA's, but nothing else and I contacted them to see what would fit and they had no idea.

I dunno if a 2nd gen eclipse moog balljoint will work or not. I would like to know this as well coz I have whiteline bushings in every arm of the car and think its ridiculous that I have to buy an all-new arm and re-install my whiteline bushings.

A vendore needs to get working on this. As the cars get older, there is lots of money to be made on maintainence parts!

2nd gen. Eclipse will not work.

I have been informed by a member of another forum that '02-'04 Lancer ball joints MAY work. It's worth a shot.
