i have a 2006 9 that is randomly making a vibration/thumping sounds from the passager side. It happens in gear and coasting then will stop and drive normal. I have new ball joints ,tie rod ends , rebuilt transfercase and transmission so I didn't think those where the issue. I jacked the car up and grabbed the inner cv axle and pulled there was some play but not a lot. So I pulled the front passager axle but didn't find much play once I got it out. So I'm looking for advice to check the cv joints to see if they are bad or if someone has has similar noises.

 

If still running KYB shocks they get stiff when they fail.
