Control Arm / Ball Joint ??

So I was told by our local Hibdon's that the ball joint has to be replaced along with the control arm... and after they struck out twice i'm to fend for myself on finding a replacement ....... does anybody know where I can find a front right lower control arm / ball joint ??

THe control arm does not need to be replaced(unless you ran over a fire hydrant). Get yourself some white line balljoints and get those badboys pressed in. If not just get some used control arms off of somebody from here on evom.net

+1 on this. Just had my joints replaced with the Whiteline Front Roll Center Adjustment Kit just prior to rolling 100k.
Purchased mine from MAPerformance and had Buschur install. Make sure to get the car aligned after

here's the link to the kit: http://www.maperformance.com/whiteli...t-kit-evo.html

Doing the same thing to my Evo. Whiteline ball joints and the steering precision kit. Then an alignment.

Don't replace using OEM parts when aftermarket can do better.

I don't think mitsu sells just the ball joint, reason why they tell you to get a new arm.
I went through the same thing.

I bought Roll center adj kit through Touge Factory and had it installed and aligned by them.

No need to get expensive oem stuff.

I've found that if you bring in just the arms to have bushing pressed out/in a lot of places will do it very cheaply or free (I ended up giving a guy at firestone a case of beer) cuz they didn't have just pressing bushings as a chargeable item in their computer. Sears pressed out the stock bushings for my rear bump steer kit for free for the same reason.

I need to get this fixed ASAP so please hit me with some knowledge.......... THANKS ! !
