Tiny brakes are 100% fine for a 100% drag car as they are secondary function, as you can't use your parachutte on the highway .... or can you?
Fair enough mate.

Reason I was asking is because I wanted to know whether people are driving around on the street with this setup without issue. I will be daily driving the car without the intentions of any back road spirited driving.

Consider this, your evo weighs pretty close to a regular lancer which probably has a 15" brake, the daily driving will be about the same (no mention of booster/MC sizing). The system on an evo would be designed for a much higher top speed which is why the disk is so much larger. The main concern for a smaller brake is the heat capacity of the disk, so for daily, you don't use that type of heat capacity.

Ive posted in other sections without any responses so I thought I'd try general.

I rallycross and have driven a few gravel/snow stages and the smaller, skinnier tires make a bigger difference than the lessened performance from the brakes. That being said, I did this as a cheaper alternative to the $1500+ small brake setups and will be transitioning to a Wilwood setup shortly, but this worked wonderfully all winter and I think is a great option for budget rallycrossers or drag guys apparently haha. Over the summer I switched back and forth for events and the extra hour was worth it.
