dipstick for stroker setup

dipstick for stroker setup

since the 4g64 block is 6mm taller does anybody have pictures of what needs to be done to the tube to get a proper reading. my original galant tube and gauge are way too long.

This is a good question. I'm using this block myself and am not sure if the pickup is actually 6mm higher or not.

My stock 4G63 dipstick works perfectly fine in my 4G64 block.

The added deck height is above the crank centerline, so the stock evo dipstick is the correct one. You might just have to straiten it a little to get the bolt to line up, but the length doesnt change. Just seat it all the way in the block.

Vague possibly, but what I meant was nothing particularly special was done to get the dipstick to read right. Mine had to be tweeked a bit to fit with my intake manifold, but that was all.
