Okay , first, with the search button i found pretty good info on the DEPO tail lights. Overall , they are a great product .

But there is no info on the Spec-D Tuning JDM tail light that vendor lancershop sells .

They seem to be very good , but they are also cheaper then the DEPO one .

Anyone can confirm the quality of theses, the fitment ...?

 

i know theres a lot of people running the depot ones. they have held up from what i read and only a slight few have leaked.

i dont think they are cheaper, i think they are the same price. on ebay the depots are 220 shipped.

I have the depos and as far as i know they have been on the car for more than 2 yrs and they still look great.

 

FWIW, I had the real JDM 8 MR tails and a set of Depo knock offs and they looked literally identical. Other than the branding on them, you absolutely could not tell the difference from a couple feet away. I love having the real stuff, but when it comes to buying JDM tails again, I would probably rock the depo ones.

 

The Depo ones are $192 shipped on ebay. Unless I come across a set of used ones on here for less sometime soon, I'm planning on picking up a set of those since they seem to have a pretty good reputation.

does DEPO make any reps without the amber strip? The stock tails on the IX MR I just picked up seem to be leaking, and I'd like to replace them. If I can't find any used stock IX tails, I might pick up some reps.
