Radiator Removal question?

Hey guys...I am in the process of taking my radiator out to give some room to play for removing my o2 housing/hot section. Does the fan come out with the rad or does it remain in place. So far I have the radiator drained and hoses removed, along with the 2 rad brackets. I was in the process of just taking the fan off ( I removed the 2 top bolts but there are 2 in the bottom that I couldnt get a wrench on or they are just stripped due to corrosion, are they hex bolts or what?) Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Yes, you can remove the fan with the radiator since the fan bolts right onto the radiator and not anywhere else.

yea keep the fan on just make sure the connectors to back of the fan are disconnected and moved out of the way, other then that the radiator should just slide up, your best bet put some cardboard or something on the back of the radiator that way the fins dont get dinged up on the turbo and exhaust manifold coming out.
sounds like your mostly done good luck.

On my 9, the fan had pegs at the bottom. So you just unbolt the top and the fan lifted out.

It's really as pretty straight forward as it seems honestly.

I got it, they are pegs on the bottom....Took it out with the fan, just removed intake. After doing this I decided to upgrade to an fp red while I'm at it lol....went from an o2 housing to an fp red and injectors and fuel pump are on the way, why not
