oil

so i am about to change my oil. when i was on the built block i was using vr1 20 50w what AWD uses.
I am on the stock block now and i was told to keep using the same zr1 20 50 w.....
is this too thick for a stock block?????

Id say yes for a stock engine stick to 30 viscosity.

I doubt it will be too thick...especially being in florida. Unfortunately, you really can't tell for sure without an oil pressure gauge

How many miles are on your block?
