So I'm at a dilemma..

I have an 8 bumper that needs to be painted but has carbon fiber air ducts. I also have a 9 bumper that is super clean, literally 100% cherry.

I'm starting to sway towards the 8 bumper with a carbon fiber lip, Mitsubishi emblem shaved, with the 9's Mitsubishi emblem put in the grill. I'm not a fan of the lips I see for the 9's where the corners stick out and sometimes I don't feel the 9 bumper looks as clean.

Is there a lip for a 9 bumper that looks like this?

doluck style lip was never made for an evo 9 that i know of

just take the 8 bumper and get a nosechop to get rid of the whole center section that the emblem is mounted on

 

I think evo 8 front with lip looks better than 9 front.

 

9 bumper looks better either way you look at it IMO, 8 just has best uses for a bigger intercooler..

The Deck Mechanical lip is the closest looking thing to an VIII Do-Luck..

I think most people find the 9 lips a bit strange because they arch up along the sides due to the way the OEM front lip fits onto the bumper. I got used to it after I bought a ralliart lip, which is the best lip for a 9 IMO.

9 bumper > 8 bumper, I just hate the nose on the 8 bumper.

 

What lip/diffuser is this?

Not sure how I feel about it though.
