Fog light button not working

is there a relay or something that goes with it? the head light adjuster works, just not the button for those lights... they seem to just be stuck on.

Did you check to make sure that the wires are all connected? As in, that they're pushed far enough into the physical clip so that they're contacting?

Wires occasionally pull out of the clip while the clip is engaged and lose contact.

When you figure it out, let us know. I want my fogs to work the way yours are now.

took the switch out today... it appears the previous owner disconnected the harness to the switch... shouldn't that turn the lights off?

i hooked it up and it still doesn't turn the lights off and on...

button bad or a bad relay?

Since connecting the switch didn't change anything, I would say that the relay is bad. Try swapping it with a similar relay and see what happens.

Are your fuses in order? Do your brake lights work?

Negative on the jumper wire. I played with the fog lights a bit and made a diy to have them on anytime the parking lights are on. It's been a bit but I think the switch sends a pulse as you push the button to some kind of lighting computer which then sends out the constant signal to the relay.
