Is my Megan O2 okay?
Is my Megan O2 okay?
Hey guys, I just bought this MR O2 housing from MAP, drop shipped from megan.
It came with the new packaging, badge, etc. However, I was looking at some other O2 housings online, and none of them had an outlet THIS small. Is this normal? It seems smaller than what I've seen some stock units come in at.

Looks like it comes in at about 59mm, which is barely 2.3"

In terms of gains made from an aftermarket O2 housing, wouldn't this just give me the same power of the OEM housing, since it's the same outlet? Aside from the outlet, i don't see much in terms of pipe-work that could drastically affect its power production over stock
Thanks guys, I emailed Megan about this last night, so I'm awaiting their response on the matter. Hopefully I can get this part swapped out for a 2.5" piece.

I've seen mixed reviews about the Invidia piece though, even from people like David Buschur. Iirc, in dyno testing the Invidia piece came out somewhere near the bottom despite having the largest outlet
