You are one LUCKY guy! Enjoy that car, but don't bastardize it. Just a suggestion: Get a VII front bumper & hood so you can set the car right...Best of luck with it!
You should figure out all the parts that are included in the HVAC system...I'm sure people would pay you for a list and schematic of everything they'd need to convert USDM evos to the UKDM/JDM spec hvac controls

It's an awesome car and I know the guy was pretty hard up for a buck it seemed. If it weren't for someone high up at the NHSTA knowing about this car I would own it. Like I said be careful with it!
you may be fine with it, but that doesn't mean the federal government is. i hope you have a hidden, off-site garage to store her in...

Thanks for the words of caution JTOY i will take good care of her.
jvLazzar, she is in a garage every night.
@DEMON, great idea! a lot of members seem really interested in the HVAC set up. it shouldn't be too hard to compare everything to an VIII and see whats needed. Once i move and start the new career i will have more time to play around with the car and contribute to the forum.
I need to fix a few little things here and there and then tastefully mod her. It will be my daily for the most part so i will not be adding too much power, 400 wheel is more than enough. As far as non power adding mods I'll be adding front/rear big brakes, tein coilovers w/EDFC, wheels (who knows what ill want in a month or so), and possibly some nice seats; The JDM RECAROs just were not designed for USDM bodies.
Ill keep everyone updated on the progress, I hope to see you at the Shootout this Summer!

If you can figure out, more power to you. Otherwise, I should have a solution later this summer.

Wow, very cool car.
I agree with getting a VII bumper and hood to put it in proper sorts.
Also agree with being careful, the federal government jackholes will take any opportunity to bend a car enthusiast over.
