Ignition Timing

Hey guys quick question. i was trying to hook up an antilag program in my friends evo 8 and we cannot figure out why it wont work. i figured we had the wires wrong but i just want to be sure.

the program requires
-red- 12v+
-black- Earth
-yellow- RPM signal
-green- Ignition Signal

I have it hooked up like so to the ECU
-red- pin 25 12V Switched Power Supply
-black- pin 26 chassis ground
-yellow- pin 58 Tach Signal (Output)
-green- pin 89 Crankshaft Position Sensor Signal

now i know all wires are getting signals I used a DMM and checked but the thing still will not work
i am thinking that it is possible i might have the wrong source for ignition signal? i have tried it with both the Crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor and neither have worked. do i have this wrong? is their a different signal that the Evo uses for the ignition signal? i was told this might be why i am not able to get it working? any help is great guys thanks!

If it's like the Gizzmo Launch Interface, you need to cut the ignition wire, attach one wire from the unit to the ecu end and one to the engine end. The ignition signal will run through the unit, then the unit can act as an interceptor, cutting the ignition signal as required.

i understand what you mean but that isnt it the Box only comes with 1 wire and it just needs a signal. my buddy (another one) has this setup in his Evo9 but he forgets what he used for the ignition signal.... and he hasnt gotten back to me. his car is out of commision so he would have to travel to check so i dont want to rely on him lol. just want to get it done and over with ahah

here is the pins and numbers for the evo 8 ECU does anyone see anything else ignition signal could be?
