RPM Pinout for SAFC2

I purchased a BC and a SAFC2 this week, and started the install. I am not sure the documentation I have is correct. However, based on stuff from the internet, and stuff from the provided documntation with the SAFC2, I figured out, what I thought, was all the pin-outs.

However, i can't get the friggin RPM's to work. I have tried pins 88, 89, 58, and NONE of them work. This was based on what I found.

Please, what is the correct configure for the initial setup, and the pin-out for the RPM. I have the dang program for the mod, I just can't seem to get past the start.

UGGGH!!, I miss the V-8's, they were so much simplier, but man they were so much slower on road-courses.

Please Help!!!!

Make sure when you do this, that you count every slot and not each wire sticking up. I did that myself at first and had to redo it

Use the Road Race Engineering pinout. Its accurate. Make sure you read the directions and look at the harness over and over again until you are positively sure that you are splicing the right one.

Well, after messing with this thing for hours, I decided to put a volt meter on the rpm wire. Guess what it was BROKE somewhere up the line. I am boxing up the whole thing and sending it back to AMS to be fixed. I am sick of dealing with it. They helped me on the phone today, and I honestly think what they told me was right, but despite any attempt, I couldn't get a signal.

Oh well, I guess I will have to add an FMIC to the list when they send me a new harness .

Thanks again to everyone who helped, and to the guys at AMS for working with me, I know I was frustrated.
