So my panel lights dont work with i turn on the headlights but work when the headlights are off i checked the fuses and i get power to the dimmer switch so im thinking maybe the dimmer is bad.

 

i have lights that are going out on mine that i need to investigate/replace

 

Does sound like the dimmer switch.Hook a volt meter up to the out-put and see what you got. Voltage should go up and down as you adjust the switch.
As it turns out I have an extra dimmer laying around. If It turns out thats the problem your welcome to it.

 

I just checked the dimmer with the volt meter and its stays at 11.82. can u send me that switch? if you dont mind thank you
