Bad luck

I think i have the worst luck with my evo. Clutch went at 35,000 miles, AC heater control issue, dash lights out, Tansfer-case/ Transmission case cracked on install of clutch, had a flat, got a new tire 1 week later ran over a sign post sticking up an inch out of the ground and blew 2 more tires. Replaced them and got another flat. Front end keeps coming loose. not to mention the clear coat is gone from my wing and calipers. thats all i can think of right now but damn i only have 41,000 miles on my evo 8

Heater control knob, Wing, and Calipers are all known issues and can be fixed rather easily

Front End?? What is coming loose??

TC/Trans are He-mans fault

Tires are bad luck though

Yeah i know, putting it back together the 2nd time i guess i was alittle stressed....oops. I think the sub frame is a little loose every so often i have to get under there and re-torque the bolts. Sad part is that i rarely ever beat on it. Never since the tc issue

About 6 or 7 years, picked it up used with 14k from brad benson. It was funny when i first got it there were no evos in the area. All the young kids would give me the thumbs up when i drove by

my ix Brembos are TRASHED like in need of sandblasting, the red has faded to a almost brown they are now the brembo Poop series Caliper
As far as the Tcase/trans its best not to pry on aluminum. These are all kinda easy fixes, could always be worse your AC could go out and your windows could not roll down for instance...

My brembos were peeling bad, the rears had no clear coat left on them. Bought some hi-temp clear, lightly sanded the rotors, and painted them. It's been a few months now, no peeling yet. Brakes look brand new. Took me all of a couple hours on the weekend.
