My car boosts much harder and spools "seemingly" quicker when I have under a half of a tank. After noticing I talked to my friend (owns an STI) and he says he notices the same thing with his car. Are we crazy?....or? maybe I need a retune.

edit: I feel like the 50 pounds of fuel isn't the cause of this. It feels like I lost 150 pounds, a whole passenger or more

 

Your car weighs less is why it feels faster

 

Each gallon of fuel is 7lbs. Maybe the reduction of weight makes it feel that way.

Just be careful making those hard left turns with low fuel...the fuel pump sits on the drivers side and you may starve it in high G turns.
