Somebody Tried to Steal My Evo!

Well, wifey woke me up this morning asking if I drove the car last night when I was drunk. I told her no and then she asked me why the car was halfway down the driveport and the security gates were wide open. I went outside and the hydraulic arms were pried free from the gate and the locking mechanism was busted open. Both doors to my Evo were left open. Almost the entire steering column was busted out and electrical tape was still on the two wires. The god d*mn ignition switch was chilling on the floorboard.

They tried to hotwire her but gave up. This all happened at around 4:48am.

I guess I won't be driving around for a little while now. The feeling this gives you is awesome. I want to put a sign on the gates that says, "yeah, the camera works....., we got your face".

That sucks. Are Evo thefts prevalent in Italy?

Best alarm sticker, its actually a combination

1. GPS Tracking System
2. A Sticker that says "GPS Tracking Equipped, find it before i find you"

Alarms that make noise are complete garbage. I hear ****ty alarms go off all the time at the mall, or other random places, and everyone just seems to ignore them.

Sorry to hear that man OT I have family in Naples haha. But my evo is usually in my garage which has 6 security cameras surrounding
it that record 24 hrs a day and if its not in the garage its in the carport again surrounded by a 4 camera dvr system. As an extra precaution I've added this as well

Works very well and if I every happen to catch someone in the act I have my trusty .45 and AR-15 close by ready to roll

I'm picking up a Viper 350 2 Way Alarm tonight. I have to order it. I have no idea how to install that thing. I was checking the forum and it looks like a nightmare. I am going to try and follow the wiring diagram. I don't know if the guy at the NATO Carshop/Bodyshop knows how to install one. I can ask him.

Thefts of Evos out here are prevalent per se but my buddy did get his Evo X jacked like last month. We have these Gypsies out here that live in fields and stuff in motor homes and make-shift shacks. The are all over Europe. Italians f/n hate them. I used to give them money at the tolls on the way to work but they can forget that. I'm not going to feel sorry for them anymore, they left me no choice.

I don't know how they hotwired his Evo though. I thought they were hotwire proof. Mine is still hotwired and taped up.

Anyways I'm going to keep looking for an install for dummies for this Viper Alarm. I'm going to Amazon myself one as soon as she gets back from the Avengers.
