Torque. you have higher PEAK numbers but his torque probably hits like a jackhammer and a much FATTER curve then yours. Remember WHP isn't real, only torque is. He spools faster and holds more torque until higher RPM's. Get E85 and you'll kill him. Also after 100MPH I'll bet you'll pull away up top.

That is the plan. Tuned to E85 and cams and gears should put my above 450 torque and above 500hp.

Hahaha. That was a good laugh after a long day! I believe I started in 4th gear at around 4000 rpms. Speed is irrelevant. I usually forget to look at the speedo most of the time anyways..

If you do E85, check your injectors after 500 miles or so. If theyre clean, check them after 1000. Continue to do so til you find, if you find, your injectors are clogging. When you start seeing E85 gunk on your injector tips, drain your E85 and run a few gallons of 93 oct through your motor and that will clean them 100%. I run a few gallons of 93 through my tank roughly every 1000 miles.

Just to be sure it was working and actually cleaning, I pulled my injectors after driving with the 93 for a little while. Injectors were perfectly cleared up.

No, injector scaling is completely different. An e85 tune is much more aggressive and running the same timing is very likely to blow the motor. The tune for each fuel is totally different.

Just run the Tephra mod and get a map switch, I run E85 and 93 all the time. If I can't find E85, run it till fuel light is on, flip switch, fill with 93, and put put on.

...before switching to e85 try this: re-race him and start in 2nd gear...BRAKE BOOST! See if that changes anything...

Got another run in. MUCH BETTER! Started off in second this time and we both honked. This time was totally diFferent. I pulled on him in every gear... Not by much but, still I pulled away. Shifting properly really makes a huge difference he said he was break boosting before. This time no break boost.
