Lost but now its found

haha so I had a funny thing happen to me today. Its not amazing so don't get your hopes up already....but a few days ago I installed some larger injectors, and one of the manifold O-rings fell off an injector. It was no biggy as I had 4 new ones I was planning to install anyways.
But it fell off right when I took out the fuel rail and I seriously couldn't find it for the life of me. I looked everywhere in that engine bay... backed the car out, looked on the ground... couldn't find it, probably spent more time trying to find it than it was worth.

So I didn't put anymore thought into it and went on with the new injectors install and tuning. During tuning I drove my car to my apartment's office and let it idle and did my thing, dialed everything in.... which leads me to today.

As I was walking to the office today to pick up a package I spotted this little black thing in the street and thought to myself "I know exactly what that is", bent down to pick it up and YUP, there was my injector O-ring lol

4 days later and like 200ft from my apartment, just thought it was funny.

Anyone else have a funny/strange story about losing something and finding it later unexpected?

A few weeks ago my IC piping blew off the throttle body... No big deal, pop the hood and re-tighten the clamp. Well I popped my hood to discover that the clamp had slid all the way off of the hose, and wasn't there. I saw that and immediately said to myself, "Well this'll be fun". So I searched all through the engine bay it and couldn't find it. Then I walked up the road I was driving on a solid 1/2 mile or so in search for it, to no avail. Luckily my buddy who was driving with me had a spare in his car, so we threw it on and went on our way. 15 minutes later I'm pulling up to my street, and I stop at a stop sign. I hear a "clank, clank" as I stop, I got out and sure enough there was the clamp sitting in the street. It was tucked up in the engine bay somewhere and just decided to fall out as I'm pulling into my neighborhood.

I found a 17mm socket that I had lost changing my clutch, 6 months later, stuck in the under carriage.

When I was swapping out my Tials from 50 to a Q I dropped the tightening bolt for the v clamp and about a month ago I found it after it had rained here. Oh and it was about a year and a half ago I lost it.

I dropped a 1/4 in wrench, socket, and extention. 2 yrs later when I swapped my turbo, I found it laying up against the block behind the 02 housing. Yeah it still works too.
