Where does this plug into? Need help!

Where does this plug into? Need help!

The plug in this picture comes off of the wiring harness for the alternator.. I kinda had to loosen things up to get it out this side to get a real picture.
What plug is this and where does it connect to?

FYI: this is not the coolant temp sensor connector.

FYI: this is not the coolant temp sensor connector.
Back of the block their is a sensor below cylinder 3 and 4... If you feel around you will feel a prong on a sensor. Plug it on that

What sensor is that.. I'm not sure if there is one installed on my block since I have been piecing parts together.

Ignore the red arrow

I take it's the sensor close to the bell housing..


What is this sensor for? I don't have all data infront of me atm..

Not 100% sure what sensor it is but its the one to the left of the intake mani bracket..the gold sensor

I believe the one you circled in the picture is the knock sensor.

ya u circled the wrong sensor......it goes to the one left and a tad bit down the one u circled! i think its an oil temp sensor?

Actually, just a switch. When oil pressure is low it illuminates the idiot light.

Yes I wrote ignore the red arrow.

Cool thanks man I know it's a sending unit, but I didn't quite know what it was.

If you have an oil pressure gauge then you dont need it, unless you just want the extra safety of a light turning on. If its not connected no cel or oil lights come on.
