How long does that celery smell last

So...... I burned my clutch on a launch a little while ago in Italy. How long does that celery smell linger?

BTW the clutch is ACT street and yes it was a controlled environment.

The bigger question is how does toasted clutch smell like Celery? And, you need to air out your vehicle, roll down windows, etc. If it persists then there is definitely something wrong with your clutch.

That smell should not be lingering around.. Sounds (or should I say smells) like your clutch might have some issues..

Woah, quickest cure to that problem is a rag in the gas tank and a lighter. Consider it a total loss....

Never thought of the asparagus pee. But more that then celery.

To the OP, I bet its still there because you have clutch issues.

was it properly broken in? what was your process?

1st launch or 100th launch, a bad launch can toast any clutch (especially an ACT). is everything operating normally minus the smell?

Everything is running normally. The clutch has like 600 miles on it. Process.....for breaking it in? I don't understand. I just drove it around. There were no launches on it before. It drives just fine.

im still trying to figure out how a burnt clutch smells like celery?? lmao sounds to me you might have burnt it pretty good while launching it. possibly whomever installed it might have not done it right. check with the person whom installed it.
