take it fftec in hayward, talk to sean, I had my car tuned there and it runs perfectly.

What's some of the damage that could have already happend from him trying to tune this?
And is the car alright to drive 4 hours to another tuner?

Well, if it's been detonating because of the ultra lean conditions, then that can cause all kinds of wear and tear in the combustion chamber, plus additional stress on the rods, fasteners, etc. I recommend you send in an oil sample to Blackstone labs the next time you change your oil. They'll be able to analyze it, and tell you how much extra wear and tear was caused if any wear metal counts are higher than normal.

Get your money back and go to RRE. They're a lot of good tuners out here.

im having him put the car back to stock tune..
and just dont trust any tuner in san luis obispo
