excuse the question, i just wanted to double check.. Are both headlights from the e8 and e9 the exact same? The reason im asking is because im about to trade headlights from someone with a evo 9 and i have a evo 8.. thanks

 

The only difference is Evo 8 are chrome housing Evo 9 are black chrome housing but will fit fine

 

On a similar note, I wish a company made replacement oe style headlights for the evo, I'm sure they could be created at a fraction of the cost.

 

evo8 is chrome, some or most have fog lights and hid's, also does not have the turquoise tint on the projector lens. some have the light leveling as well.

i would do the trade.

 

If you don't want to, let me know. I'd made that trade in a heartbeat. Unless you are trading an HID headlight for a Non-HID Evo 9 headlight. If that is the case, you should keep your own and paint them black.
