Anyone have a Spare EVO ECU

I really want to do the flash, but this being my only car, I can afford for it to be down a couple days. I wish they had them on a core return charge or something, how much is a used one if it can be found?

That wont work b/c each ecu must be coded with your imoblizer and key codes or they wont work

Same thing

If you do find a spare the only way to install is to take to the dealer and have re-codded for your key. I also tried to get one.

it only take 2-3 days downtime (might be sooner though). you might as well get a cheap rental which will cost you less than an ecu for that time.

You can't just swap ecu's due to the key chip encoding.

Go to Enterprise and rent a car for 2 days. If you can afford the reflash, you certainly should be able to afford the $60 for a 2 day rental.

it doesn't matter anymore, you eliminate the ecu which shuts down the car witht he immobilizer. that is why you can run standalone.

I have an ecu if you want it $600.00, but still will have to get the immobilizer reproggramed.
