The one downside to a Dynoflash...

Going through Evo withdrawals while the ECU is in transit!

I washed her today and she was looking so nice and shiny. I just wanted to jump in and go for a spin, but it'll be a few more days before my ECU is back. Oh well, its worth it for more WHP....just gotta keep telling myself that

Thanks again Al and Nino

When you feel the low end spool up and top end power of the now famous "Fireball" flash . . . . you will forget all about the short waiting period

BTW the ecu is in fed ex's hands and on its way

Yes it will be well worth the wait. It will feel like another car has really evolved from your Evo to a beast. It's amazing how much power the ECU is holding back.

I've only seen the Magnus intake, but it was beautiful! and priced pretty nice too.

Al,

You may have already answered this question, but i did a search and didn't find anything. I'd like to know if the reflash does anything to the reliability. If the boost tapers off to ~16psi at redline on stock cars and reflash keeps it in full boost all the way thru including eliminating the rev limiter and cut off, how will this affect the engine. Will it effect the car's long term reliability?

I know mods affect reliability, but i would like your opinion as this is one definite mod i will do soon after i pick up my car next week.

I already know that u're willing to reflash the car to it's stock setting if there are any warranty issues, so that part makes me comfortable about getting this mod ...

I'm new to the boost world, so excuse my ignorance, if this doesn't make sense!

id say thats fair...but maintain your car and everythin will be fine....u wont kill your car with a reflash...but people always try to up things...they need more and add stuff like a boost contoler and crank it up...al tunes within a safe limit...once u go past that point who knows what will happen
