That's certainly one way of looking at it. Then there's the other, which points at an extraordinary number of cars in the Evolution community screwed up by their owners. Commonly, several times in succession by each consecutive owner. While the concept of cause and effect remains, its root stems from another direction.

Shed some light on your position then... What is this magic "OTHER" thing that people are doing to screw up their cars that makes the AC not work? This is what is required for a cause-effect relationship. I read some of your other threads and don't expect a constructive answer.

My EVO was stock when I purchased it, still under warranty. It had been poorly maintained but there was no way to know that when I drove it off the lot and I doubt it's poor maintenance that has lead to the problem with idle and AC.

Like seriously? Somehow you seem to think that modding a car to this extent carries no negative consequences. The poor AC performance can't possibly be caused by the mounds of mods you threw into your Evo. There's a Santa Clause, too.

...2.3, Exedy HD Twin, HKS272 (Are there oldschool and newschool 272's now?)

It's been stalling sense I did the clutch. It was ok with just the 2.3 and cams. I'm about ready to sell it.
...let's see ...you rebuild the car to your own desires going as far as completely altering the operating scope of the motor. A better question would be, why wouldn't your car run into issues operating its accessories, when it's nowhere near a configuration that would allow those same accessories to function normally? There's no free lunch; something has to give. Expecting the opposite is simply wishful thinking.

What got us here is the cause and effect relationship asserted earlier in the thread. This isn't an Evo issue; it's an Evo owner issue. You were the one who modded the car; you're the one who screwed it up.

FJF, please clean off your glass belly button. Not everyone has the same opinion as you and as we have discussed before. Not to mention the fact that didn't your mother tell you that if you don't have anything nice to say to not say anything at all? I guess not.

My clutch went out and I was recommended a lighter flywheel than stock and it caused my car to almost stall some times when coming to a stop. Does that mean that I too have horribly screwed up my car because of it?

The issue was easily tuned out and now I don't stall. The a/c still blows cold.

Installing an exhaust or intake needs to have a tune to make the car run at its optimum level as well. Does that to mean that I have have screwed up my car installing those mods as well?

Oh woes me that I don't live up to the FJF standard.

I better go buy a low mileage evo 9 and leave it stock so that I can.

The OP screwed up his Evo and is now blaming the car for his own actions. Where do you fit in? All you have to say is how you have some mods and your car doesn't stall. Riveting. I'll inform the press.

My personal experience...

Random interjection of my cars mods I know.

Where do I fit in?

I am actually trying to help a fellow Evo owner, instead of simply ridiculing him.

GL with the fix op. Let us know how it goes or if you are still experiencing the issue.
