11:15 met some nice girls
11:16 got girls names and set up rendevouz time
11:30 finally got through the ***** of a line that they called check in
11:45 got my Mitsubishi package
12:00 got my stuff sent to my room
12:01 stiffed the bellboy for a tip
1:00 met up with my crew
1:00-5:00 lost every earthly possesion we had
6:00 go to neverending meeting
rest of the night mingle and get wasted off of free food and booze

Wednesday
6:30am alarm goes off
7:00 alarm still going off
7:05 take shower/****/shave
8:00 go to meeting where Outlander/Evo/Endeavor are displayed

Basically the Evo VII was displayed with the bodywork of an VIII. MSRP under $30k, expect more than 260 HP, 0-60 under 5. Vague but I liked the under 5 and 30 parts. Front end will look like the artist rendition of the VIII in the Automobile magazine from a few months ago. It was definately more aggresive looking than the VII.

Also anounced was the addition of a cheaper EVO promissed under 20 most likely around $18k main competitors being the Sentra SER V-spec and Focus SVT. There was a lot more but I can't really comment on them. wouldn't like it.

Just as a side note this website was displayed briefly during the presentation. Congrats.

Also expect an awesome array of commercials coming up. If you liked the Eclipse comercial with Dirty Vegas you will really like the new video. Cool song from a French group. Anyhow I need some sleep I have to wake up early and go to work.

You can't tell us more about the Evo? Did they tell everyone to keep it hush? What about the 6-speed, recaros, brembos, ayc/acd, colors, etc. We need details!

 

What is the artist rendition you are talking about? Reason being, I have seen a few renditions and each of them are quite different.

Hmmm, Just over 260hp and 0-60 in under 5 secs. Sounds like the Evo lost some weight. No AYC or ACD perhaps? Or is that low time because of a very close ratio 6 speed?

also is the cheaper model comming out first or vise versa? or at the same time?

 

personally i dont care about the styling, its going to be about 2 months before the aftermarket is flooded with body kits anyway. look at the wrx market. i'm more concerned about the performance aspect. and the way it sounds the MSRP of the full EVO is going to be under 30k and still turn a 0-60 under 5, cant get those kinda numbers anywhere else. but now since told their dealers, how long before an "official" press release with some hard facts.

 

I thought it was ****/shave/shower Was there any details on a timeframe for the Evo?

the headlights remind me of eclipse taillights... they look like they're tryin to rice it up a bit. i don't like the headlights. other than that i really like it. much better than the 7.

 

that is sick, is that a turbo cedia? Projector lights like that would be dope on the OZ. Hmm, so that sounds good, congrats to KK and all of LF for a brief mention. 30k and <5 sec 0-60. Ohhh Snap, we have a new best car on the American market.
