speed density help!!
when i go to wire up the IAT sensor for speed density one of the wires is the ground. where do i run the other wire. if to the ecu what pin would it be on a 2006 SE Mr also is there other places to run it. any info will be great thanks
i'm sure you're on midwestforums...talk to Tom about tuning it, I don;t use the IAT sensor because I use the fuel temp. Note IAT temp is better when driving in different temperatures (ie pulling car out of heated garage into cold weather)
^ that i did not know, but i haven't had any real issues with my car on SD besides driveability. Unless your MAF is garbage I wouldn't make the swap, I have been on it know for about a year and had it retuned and the driveability isn't there. It is glitchy at low rpm's and it isnt worth the minimal gains

.And yep, I've had quite a few friends that were tuned on IAT and needed to touch up their tune every season.

ok guys well my car have a forward facing kit on it now so i dont really have a choice but to go SD and i will be having it tuned. im not really doing it for the little gains. also will i have more problems with a 3port/SD tune on stock ecu or do i need to fork out the more money for aem ems ( i really not trying to go that route ) not yet.
keep the opinions coming good info for me =) thanks

sounds like more money out my pocket for re-tunes lol
You do not need to get EMS. I just put my car from EMS to Stock ECU SD. Just get SD tuned based off of your fuel temp sensor. Any SD tuner should be able to do that (and would probably prefer doing it that way).
