modded evo flywheel HP?

Hey I wondering about how much flywheel horsepower my modded evo has...most people don't understand whp so i want to give them the flywheel hp. I have a buschur racing turbo back exhaust w/ test pipe and magnaflow muffler along with a mail in dynoflash and a hallman boost controller running 19 lbs of boost...thanks in advance

oh yeah i run 93 octane gas in alabama

I would say youve added 40 to 50 hp. the whp is usually about 86% of the flywheel hp.

Well this is a very broad estimation, but i guesstimated my car like this. I took the 271 stock flywheel hp then multiplied that number by .16 to account for drivetrain loss which gives a figure of 227awhp. Then simply add the anticipated numbers to that so assuming an exhaust, flash and boost control nets you 50whp overall for a total of 277whp, then you would mutiply that number by 1.16 to get a the new flywheel number 321fwhp. Very inexact

Same thing as evoego said except AWD usually loses a little more then the average 14% at the wheels of most 2wd cars so i plugged in 16%.

Well, it's been shown that even two new evos can put down different HP on the dyno so it would be nearly impossible to guess your HP based on mods. You can time your ET's and guestimate your HP. That's really the only way to guess near the mark. It could still be off by a percentage but it's closer than trying to base it on the mods you've done.

I just figure the Evo's horsepower with the stock times

Weight:3260
1/4 Time:13.4
1/4 Speed:103 mph

Using the ET method, I come up with 268 horsepower

Using the Speed method, I come up with 278 horsepower

But that's just what it said
